I can get my hands on a phase 2 xsi 16v rear beam in good order for an next to nothing with the rear calipers,would these parts be compatible on my ph3 6,my plan is to rebuild the beam and give the rear calipers a goin over if theres no difference cheers for your advice |

it will fit straight on, brakes and torsion bars are the same, anti roll bar is only 19mm diameter as opposed to the GTi6 having a 24mm one. Easily interchangeable though |

Does that mean theres no difference whatsoever welshpug,the beam itself i will be lookin to put sum bigger tb and new bearings in anyway then a lick of paint and maybe fit with some solid mounts |

XSI/S16/GTI-6 beams are all the same. Only difference is that not all XSI and S16 have ABS brakes. Though most do and it doesn't make any difference to torsion bars nor anti roll bar. The original torsion bar are quite useless, need to be uprated, Peugeot Sport 23.5 or 25mm will make a difference ________________________________________ 306 S16 "Peugeot Sport GrpN" '94, 405 Mi16 "OEM+" '89, 605 SV24 "Executive Express" '91 |
