they use taper bolts, no not standard bolts from a pug alloy wheel.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Ok so bought some bolts and got round to fitting the wheels today and the bolts seem to be too long. When they are sitting in the wheel as they would when they are on the car, they measure almost 30mm thread sticking out. Tried tightening it but it was getting tight before the wheel was even close to being tight . There was still thread in the hub so im assuming i could of tightened it further and it was just full of dirt but i dont want to put bolts in that are too long as they will stick out the back of the hub and i dont want them catching on anything. What size bolts am i meant to be using with these? |

guess you bought long bolts for use with spacers, return them and ask for shorter standard length ones.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I think your total thread should be around 30mm so they are way too long if you have 30mm sticking through the wheel.________________________________________ '90 1.6 205 GTi, '98 306 GTi-6 |

Thing is though the bottom of the tapered hole is only about 2mm away from the face on the wheel. Might just drive over to speedshack at the weekend and try some when im there. |
