avoid both of the aforementioned tyres Michelin, BFG if you can find them, Kumho or falken. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I was unimpressed with T1R's in 55 Profile, Only ever liked them in 45.I Was very impressed with R1R's in 50, perhaps they would be good in 55 too. ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Ive had 4 55 t1rs. First 1000 miles was great. Gripped well but since they have been pretty rubbish. Also, they are about 1000 miles off the wear marker and ive done 7k on them. I got a set of Goodyear eagle f1s on my turinis i bought a few months back. At first, i thought they were pretty crap but i went for a pretty spirited drive night before last and they seriously grip in the dry! only thing is they always look very worn down. Mine have about 4mm all round but at first glance, look like they are barely legal so bear that in mind if the police pull you over. Around here they seem too stupid to understand how to use a tread depth gauge. |

Use accelera alpha's If its grip youre after, you are better off on bare rims! But they dont half last. Ive seriously done about 30,000 miles in them! a few track sessions too when i couldnt afford better rubber ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

I've been pretty happy with Avon ZV5's. Grip in the wet and dry is good and I can't argue about the wear rate. The set I'm on at the moment have done over 20000 miles and they still have over 4mm of tread remaining! |

Ive got getting on for 30k miles out of my pe2's and the grip is still very good. A little more expensive than the usual but last much longer and grip much harder. Avoid T1R's, tge grip is average and the longevity is rubbish.Yoko paradas are also very averge imo, grip quite well in the dry but not really at all in the wet. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

I've actually just put a set of Avon zv5's on the front of my hdi and for the price I'm pretty impressed with them. Seem reasonable in the wet and loads of grip in the dry. The michelins are a great tyre I just hate the floppy sidewalls they all come with.....________________________________________ Black power baby! Ps3's dont suffer with the sidewall as they are massively stiffened. And yeah, any chance to knock the paradas will be taken up... ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

PE2's are great, love them, but wish the walls weren't as soft. I have loads of confidence with these but I wouldn't ever see 20k and I don't participate in grand prix starts or wheel spinning action. I've had zv5s or 3's too, which were pretty good for what they are. T1R's are hopeless, anyone saying otherwise obviously isn't putting any real load through them (OAP Sunday driving) ________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |

I wanted PE2s but as they seem to be NLA I've got Dunlop 195/55-15 SP Sport Fast Response. I've only done 60 miles on them but I was impressed the night before last when I had a good B-road drive, mind you I was coming from some nasty ditchfinders called "Doublestar", which were beyond awful. So I have to say I agree with Kev, the Dunlops are good so far. They are definitely better than the set of T1-Rs I had in the same size on a different car. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |
