Selling my 1999 T-Reg silver GTi-6 as I have no need for the car having purchased another.

Coming up to 179,000 miles so she's a well travelled girl, however will still make a good/cheap runaround for someone willing to apply a little tlc.

Whilst I've owned her she's had:
New fuel pump and level sender (Summer 2010).
New cambelt and clutch (Autumn 2010).
Head gasket, head skim, cam cover gaskets and valve stem seals + numerous other head related goodies (spring 2012).
Rear axle swap (Summer 2010).
New front ARB linkages (Autumn 2010).
Brand new Idle Control Valve & Throttle Position Sensor (Spring 2012).
Serviced by myself regularly, most recently new oil, filter, plugs and exhaust over Christmas.
Facelift clear headlights/indicators donated from my XSi.

The car has a shallow crease down the passenger side door and into the front wing, kindly applied to the car by an unknown numpty, the type which those who frequent Oxford will be familiar with. Aside from this, all bodywork is in excellent nick given the distance the car has travelled.

The oil filler cap leaks very slightly, and I have been unable to resolve this, however the leakage is so small that I don't notice it any more and it comes to oil change time before it would need topping up. Apart from this filler cap the engine seems in sound mechanical condition and runs smoothly. The car is by no means as new but still pulls hard when asked.

The drivers seat is the largest clue to the car's globe trotting habits, being particularly worn. Conversely, the passenger seat and rear bench are in excellent condition, as are the headrests.

The MOT on the car runs out on Friday 15th, so a quick pickup is advised. There is currently a new 6m tax disc on the car which I shall be redeeming, unless the buyer chooses to purchase it from me at the discount rate of £100, a £21 discount on re-taxing the car. Before Friday and with the tax disc the car be driven away.

Looking for £400 or make me an offer.

You can contact me via text during daytime working hours or calls after 6 on 07771 566439

Cheers, Tom

I've got a scratch on my driver's door courtesy of an Oxford car park.

Bad times. I also had someone drive into my XSi and write it off whilst parked in Oxford. Not an ideal place for cars evidently.

Nice pussy.

LOL I'm currently rebuilding my Ph.2 after a woman coming the other way swerved across the road and hit me head-on with no warning whatsoever.

Good luck with the sale.
