Hi,

Has anyone ever it a gti6 engine in a 306 sedan? If so, did you incur any problems such as vibrations on the passenger side, gearknob wobbles, I have changed almost everything from bottom mount, ball joint, axles and the problem persists. I am rolling on 17's with 40mm springs and koni shocks. Any ideas/suggestions on the cause of my problem?

vibrations happen on take off its as if the car has so much power it can't stabilize. Also every time I accelerate and change gears...vibration. Most of the time it feels as if it is from the passenger side. I tightened the subframe problem persists. Can the shock mount cause that?

Most likely a knackered driveshaft.

The symptoms you describe immediately point me in the direction of an unserviceable driveshaft. Yes

I forget.

Talking about anagrams, though, and I remember 'slide my balls' is an anagram of Miss Ladybell.

Thanks for the advice...I'll change the driveshaft and see if it clears up the problem.
