right bit of an odd one but my mate was asking me if he could fit DCOE jenveys in the vertical postion on his aircooled bug rather then by DCNF throttle bodies. now if it was a weber carb it just wouldnt work properly for sure. but i cant see why you couldnt with a throttle body. injector angles look the same between the two. can anyone shed any light on the subject. cheers

You can mount a throttle body in any position you want. Down draught should work nicely.

Why would a weber not work?

Typically, your standard jenvey is the dcoe flange pattern, they wont fit the dcnf manifold.

Buy dcnf pattern jenveys, crack on, bwarp

Cheers daveyboy just what i was after!


sorry welsh pug missed of the dcoe *now if it was a weber DCOE carb it just wouldnt work properly for sure.* obviously because the float wouldnt work.
