Hi There,
I need some direction please, just went to start my Rallye, engine turned very slowly but didn't start, tried a couple of times now engine won't turn over at all, also noticed my clock display started flashing all its lighty bits, also my speedo and rev counter needle moved three quarters of the way round the dials and stayed there until i turned ignition off.
Hoping its just my battery although I only had new one December 2010, could it be the alternator ?
Any guidance much appreciated, I will try jumping it later when me mate comes round.
Cheers

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time

Thanks for your comments everyone, yes it was the battery, the nice people from Flux rescue came and told me i needed a new battery, they also told me to move my K & N filter from the depths of the engine bay and place it next to my now new battery, which cost me £80 Shock , but i was reliably told it was the Mutts Nuttz !!
