A relocation bracket and associated plumbing from Rich_W is normally the way to go.

As above. Rich_W, Carl or even spoox will do them.

S16 or 8v xsi non aircon setup, lighter than setups mentioned and cheaper.

Lighter you say, I assume its usefully so?
I always enjoy i lighter option if possible. I assume this wouldnt prevent you running a sc kit for whatever reason if you decided to go for the s16 option rather than the pas relocation kit that comes with he charger?

You wouldn't be able to use it with a Lynx/Rotrex SC bracket bracket, its significantly smaller.

welshpug - could i use the above but the ph1 8v xsi version? and could i reuse my GTI6 alternator,

pas pump and crank pulley?, iirc using the 6 pulley with all those bits doesn't allow the belt to run

true

...ive just had a think about this and answered my own question lol - pas pump pulley wont be in line with crank pulley

think alternator will have same problem

so i'm gonna need S16 bracket or 8v XSi (if its the same), alternator and pas pump plus tensioner and pipework

alterations

Can't we fit the GTI6 alternator and PAS pump using the S16 bracket? Could cost a fortune buying an alternator and a pump from the scrappy here...

pulley offsets are the same, however the alternator brackets are different, your best bet is to get the complete setup, however I;m sure the gti6 pump could be used.

I'm not sure yet what I'm doing with the ancillaries, but the engine is up for grabs.

The Alt is different, the S16 bracket hit's the Alloy sump as the S16 engine's had a Tin sump (Without AC) PAS pump will fit either thou but I would not use the S16 pump as the pulley is too large
