You certainly need to use "ARP Lube" on the threads of the bolts, I can tell you that. As for the same tightening torques, I honestly can't remember off the top of my head. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Rod bolts and head studs can be torqued multiple times. Can't remember how many, might be 6 but I can't remember for sure, but I doubt you'll have them on and off even that many times. As for the socket you just need an ordinary 12 point or bi-hex socket.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. The one's I used can be torqued multiple times until they have stretched beyond a certain point. Unfortunately you have to measure them as new to be able to tell when they have stretched past there limit, as I bought the engine second hand I have no idea what they were as new! Ideally use a stretch gauge rather than a torque wrench when tightening them up too,bit expensive for a single use though! ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |
