Just stumbled across these and wondered of anyone had used them before?

http://www.speedbleeder.com/

They have a built-in ball valve in the nipple and stop fluid coming out or air going in when bleeding unless the pedal is being depressed...

Thoughts?

Cheaper to put a one way valve on the end of your bleed pipe

Not keen on that, you can't see if there's bubbles or not. you'd have to rely on it 100%.

I'll stick to the submerged one way valve in a jar of fluid with clear pipe thanks :p

i prefer the 2 man method, least that way you can be reassured of a properly bled caliper/cylinder

although ive been using my new pressure bleeder on TX taxis and it seems to work a treat, handy

when theres no one around to help.

AP racing do some similar ones, one bit goes in the caliper and an attachment attaches it to open it for bleeding. Only about £250/caliper....

Use the one way valve in a length of tube you can get from Halfords for like 5 quid, I use that when bleeding by myself and it works a treat - you can even get one with a pot attached at the end.

Personally I like using the Gunsons Eezibleed, seems to work very well I find. That way, you don't need any kind of one-way valve.

Of course using a Gunson kit you eliminate the need for a one-way valve as it's constantly being pressurised out. Yes

I just use clear pipe, cheap and easy to see the fluid condition coming out, I do wonder if the constant pressing up and down of the pedal hurts the master cylinder and keep thinking about getting a power blender thing they use in garages.

I always wanted one of these. I always found the EEZbleed awkward as you had to let the pressure down on the tyre to stop the fluid p**sing out of seals etc.

Gunson Eezebleed ftw. Bit of ptfe tape round the reservoir threads to get a good seal.
