Selling my 306 XSi which I’ve owned for the last 8 years, as I don’t have time to work on it anymore. Sad

Peugeot 306 XSi 2.0 16v
First registered January 1998 (R reg)
Tax until end May 2013
MOT expires 17/02/2013
163,000 Miles

Engine: XU10J4R 1998cc 16v 135bhp Petrol
ABS, Power steering, Electric Windows

Main problems:
5th gear – pops out
Clutch judder – been there for years, but has gradually got worse. Still usable.
AC – has never worked since I bought the car

Recent work:
Front brake pads – Oct 12
Cambelt – Oct 2012
Rear brake pads – Sept 12
Heater Matrix – Mar 2012
Centre and Rear Exhaust Feb 2012
Alternator – Dec 2011
Radiator – Mar 2011
Wishbones + ball joints Feb 2011

Tyres (195/55/15)
Kumho x2 (3-4000 miles ago)
Riken x1 (1-2000 miles ago)

1 key (infra-red remote)
Towbar
I have codes for radio and ECU.

Bodywork – small spot of corrosion under rear window. Drivers door small dent at very outside edge (when open) after blowing open against fence post. Couple of car park dings on sides and stone chips on bonnet. Could do with a good polish.

I know I could break it for more than I'm asking for here, but would rather not scrap it.

Inspection welcome. I’ll want to see proof of insurance for a test drive.

Thanks

************ UPDATE 11/02/13 ***********

Realised I should check it today after it sitting unused for well over a month - started fine, but smells damp inside, and rear brakes are binding slightly. Brakes might improve after a good drive, otherwise you'll need to screw the pistons in a couple of times on each side. With this in mind, I've taken more off the asking price, so now £230. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks

Hi Russ, it's on a temporary policy, named drivers only - they know I'm selling it so specifically warned about uninsured test drivers. Thanks
