They are a good buy for a track car, I'd imagine?I've not needed one doing fast road driving. That said, these engines do seem to run hot ________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |

My oil in the V6 even when pushing it stays at a lovely stable temperature ensuring a constant maxium viscosity! If ya get one though use a thermostat sandwich plate to ensure oil is not constantly cooled as this can be bad. ________________________________________ V6 Power!Faster I can go the better! Yep, good for prolonged fast road and track use.As said already, you MUST get a thermostat installed into the system somewhere to ensure the oil doesn't run too cold. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Not needed on a road car On a Track car yeah as the prolonged high revs does get the oil hot in these ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

I thought you could just get the normal one and leave the heat exchanger in place? That way it would only use the oil cooler when dictated but the heat exchanegr all ready there Or am i wrong? ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

No Eliot, you need to thermostatically control the oil flow through the cooler to stop it running too cold. The heat exchanger is exactly that, it's not a cooler. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
