Perhaps try another set of verniers to compare, yours may need calibrating? Best to rule them out. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

That's certainly a good starting point. To be fair, the head height minimum is 136.8mm +/- 0.05mm.Therefore at your figure of 136.71mm, you are 0.04mm outside of the maximum tolerance permissible. It will be touch and go whether or not that head is reusable really. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

A gasket 1.45mm thick will take it back to 136.96mm, so will be ok with this. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Unfortunately, it will be a fibre gasket as Welshpug said, which whilst they are perfectly fine to use I just have a pet hate from them and much prefer the MLS design. However, saying that, in this instance you've got no choice. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
