Any AP experts about?

I currently have 25.4mm discs on my front brake set up. I want to change up to 28mm thick discs.

Now, my calipers have the clearance to accommodate the 28mm disc..

What I want to know is as long as I get the correct pcd pattern, and correct number of mounting holes, will the be a direct swap? Will they fit my current bells without any issues? They won't sit too far forward or back on my bells? I wasn't sure if they were all the same offset of mounting holes on the disc itself or not....

you'll probably have to shim your caliper away from the wheel a bit if the current disk is central and both new and old discs have the same offset to the front face from the bell.

Ah I see that makes sense. So where the caliper bracket bolts on behind the hub brackets, it's probably going to need maybe a 1mm shim.......
