I assume thats just for the glass mate?
Was hoping for more than that including the electric motors, runners and wiring looms.

I agree, if you're going poly windows then they should really be fixed in position! You wont save much weight by swapping the windows, but it enables you to cut away the door skin and remove all the gubbins as said above if you wanted to go that far. ________________________________________ Cherry Red Rallye - 179.1bhp@fly, 148.4bhp@wheels |

Yep, thats the plan ![]() Will need to check out how much I can cut away, my only concern is the door handle. ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged ![]() 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

Cjm...you are assuming the right thing! ![]() The 6kgs are only for the windows replacement. My complete doors weighted 26kgs standard and now they are around 15kgs, but still with no paper sheet flexibility! ________________________________________ What is a hybrid?Honda engine...Ford brakes...Peugeot chassis...Vauxhall steering... |

Door handle may be an issue but all you do is buy a dremel or similar, mark out the area to cut and obviously cut around the handle. It will still be connected to the door itself, if you see what I mean! ________________________________________ Cherry Red Rallye - 179.1bhp@fly, 148.4bhp@wheels |
