Hi everyone.

For sale my beloved 306 Rallye. Just over 200 left in the UK now so these are getting rare to find now. Only 86k on the clock. Been fully professionally re-sprayed with alloy wheels refurbed. Brand new sticker set aswell.
Loads of work carried out recently including..... Cambelt kit with new waterpump and coolant, brand new discs and pads front and rear, new radiator, new flange kit on exhaust that connects from the centre pipe to the manifold and also braided brake hoses all round. All tyres have loads of tread left. As you can see its been well looked after and turns heads everywhere. Completely standard bar a k&n air filter. No tapping or knocks from engine. Very strong engine. Thousands spent on it and alot of time. First to see will buy. Looking for £3500ovno as its a very clean example.
Will put 12months mot on it and has 5months tax.
Text me for more info or for some photos.
Thanks.

Not a bad price if its properly good, no rust etc etc.

I think the forum is a little daft for insisting on such low prices for the rallyes, especially with so few left and them being a genuinely awesome car. Won't be long before sub 100k cars go up again.

3500....
fair play if its as mint as you say, but dont expect it to sell anytime soon Sad
theres quite a few on here for less than 1500, may have more miles but £2k more for 40-50k more miles
think i might up the price of mine once its back to standard

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

It depends whether you want an OK car to use and abuse and spend no money on for a couple of years or if you want a car that is properly up to date with maintenance to keep for a long time.

If the former you won't care that previous owners may well have skimped on replacing stuff as you will not be attempting to make it mint. But if you want something really nice to hang onto for a long time it is better to pay more for a minter than get an OK one and then spend ££££ getting it back to where it should have been if people had looked after it.

I would have been better off paying £3000+ for a minter than what I did buying cheaply at the time what is a basically sound example but has needed radiator, cam belt, brakes, front bumper, proper tyres etc etc - it soon adds up.

Exactly mik Smile i would love to store it but unfortunately being 20 its hard to find money for another car so unfortunately my Rallye has to give way to a 306 enthusist Smile. Especially with all the work its had done it will certainly last a while Smile.

Chris is currently uploading photos I've sent to him Big grin

I think the problem is that at say £1500, it's difficult to find a better hot hatch in good condition than a '6, however if you've got a lot more money that a really perfect 306 should theoretically be worth, there are other great options too.

It's a shame really, as a mint '6 is actually a very nice car, for what it is.

Exactly 306's that have been well looked after should be worth more than others around and for what sort of car they are its alot for the money.

I checked and theres just over 200 rallyes left now so they are getting rarer and rarer to find in tip top condition Smile
