Can someone tell me what this sensor is used for ?



Iv used it as a hole blocker, found it in my box of bits.

think it's the oil pressure switch. i am using the gti6 one with a t piece adapter in mine with the mushroom sender

I just wondered as ill be fitting an oil temp switch sensor in the same hole, ill sell this as its brand new.

If so I'll do it here instead Razz Laugh my ass off

on the end is a pressure switch, on the side a pressure sender.

what are you using for an oil pressure switch if you remove that?

why's it like that anyway? is that a gti6 engine? if so, wonder why they didn't just use the gti6 sender with the right plug anyway Unsure

You dont half talk some s**t you two, this is an engine thread not your usual take pleasure in putting people down thread, leave that for when you gossip to all your girl friends.

Oil pressure sensors all work fine, stop light etc works fine and im using as many 205 sensors as possible as they better match the 205 dials to give a more accurate reading.

I fail to see how the oil pressure warning light can work when it is not pluged in? What have you connected it up to out of interest?
