Hi guys I've had a search on what oil to use for the supercharged 6 just wondering whereabouts you can buy the royal purple from?

Is there any cheaper oil you can use as well?

Thanks max

Some people use fuchs pro s 10w50 instead, but i believe the recommended one is royal purple.
If I go charged then i'll likely use fuchs in all honesty and change it more often.

I've done 40k supercharged on Fuchs 10W50.

I'd recommend it. RP is too expensive and unlikely to be beneficial.

It depends what state of tune your engine is in...if you're running low boost on a standard lump then RP may not benefit you as much as it would on a built engine. Yes

Yes, RP is not required for an engine which is running a standard bottom end. It is perhaps a possible extra insurance against premature failure, but certainly not an absolute essential.
