Well basically i'm taking the head off to have it repaired from the tapping, so while i'm at it should i put some fast road cams in ? what are people thoughts of them ? and how much are you looking for a set of cams ? Anything else anyone would also recommend while its apart ? Thankyou in advanced ! Harry________________________________________ New owner of a Moonstone 6 ! |

start by reading this regarding cams:http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=104146 then find a decent specialist, you may or may not need valve guides, definitely get the seats checked. will likely need a few valves if it taps. tappets you can refresh yourself very easily, read the following. http://www.taylor-eng.com/16v_head/16v_head.htm ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
