B46 are highly rated, Kam racing sells them much cheaper too.

Basically there are 3 "Normal" sets of front Bilsteins
B4 Which are OEM Spec
B6 Are uprated Standard length
B8's are Uprated and Shortened for cars -25mm or less

So in essence B6 and B8's are the same its just that one is shorter than the other.

B4's are black
B6/8 are yellow

For the rear it gets more complicated.
there a B4's and B6's but no B8's as there is no need to shorten a rear damper on our cars
So generally you would have:
B4's allround At standard height ( You can lower them too if you want but they only come in one length)
B6's all round at standard height
B8's lowered at the front with b6's at the rear.

With regards to rear shocks there are some other variants of Bilstein available.
For example a b46-1038 (Which is actually a 205 Challenge damper) fits fine and is similar to the rear Bilstein b6's but cheaper at 150 for a pair.

If you see a B12 pro kit its basically a set of B8 fronts, B6 rears and Eibach -30mm springs Smile

What happens is i click back to get back to the new post list where there is two pages. I use the two pages, i go to page 2 then back to one and all the new posts pop up. Then i also have all the ones iv not looked at in easy view. When i go back after posting the mobile re-enters my post i had already made hence double posts. When on laptop and clivk new posts page on favorites then loads of pages come up but not on mobile. Also mobile wont show the pinned threads unlike the laptop does so only a few new posts are on first page.

Ive got B4s all round with Eibach 30mm springs on the front and its a very very capable car whilst still being relatively comfortable. Of course, you could make it more capable with a set of coilies on stiff springs but then you loose the comfort aspect which is a big thing on british roads. Highly recommend them for the money!

Yes, but damping rates should be different due to the weight and springs.
I think the front arb tabs are in different places too, but not 100%.

I've B4's on mine, with 30mm springs. Perfect for what i need (i.e. on bumpy roads and lanes). may be too soft if your tracking, but i'd say for everyday use, your unto a winner.

I got b6 rears and noticed not much difference to standard. Not worth the price tag imo. However I only paid half the price so cant really grumble.
