Not really much of a project, but meh, there isn't a "member's cars" section so it's going in here. So this has been in and out of various forum members' hands a few times, but for now it's in mine and is here to stay. Smile

Completely standard except the induction pipe & filter which were already on it, although I'm not sure on the long term plans for this so for now the intake can stay. Some of you will notice the front tyres are a little skinny, yes they're 175s and again they were already on it. Also, does anyone know what the GTI badge is off? I keep forgetting to compare but it looks a bit VW to me and is very different to the ones on the sides of the car.

Yeah, a couple are near Ogwen, others on the old road down Ogwen Valley and others in Dinorwig. Thumbs up Well spotted!

Click the thumbnails then click the picture when photobucket opens. The originals are 10mp but PB resizes everything.

Nope. Staying standard ride height for now. At most I doubt I'll ever drop it more than 20mm or so front and rear if I can get springs that only drop it that much. I'm not a fan of lowering cars really and to do it properly - by that I mean taking into account spring rates, ARB rates, damper settings etc - would cost more than I'm prepared to spend on it for the time being. I'll probably put some 16's on though with 205/45 rubber so I can keep a decent profile and have the arches looking a bit more filled out.

Really nice, I like it. P1 looks very good in red - but then I've always liked red cars and am probably biased. Nice P1s are quite rare these days, great to see one in such good nick.

Having clean and seriously shiny lustrous paintwork is one of the best "mods" you can have on a car IMHO - sets it apart from everything else much better than dubious cosmetic mods.

I've replaced all my suspension with standard as I feel these cars are set up so well just as they come, but then again I don't do track days.

ahh, ok. I thought the rear one was a bit odd because it is an upper case I which i didn't think was used. I might just debadge it at the back.
