Exhaust maybe? Does it have a cat in? Could be your problem.

Blocked exhaust / intake?

Loose throttle cable?

If it's fine from cold, then lambda sensor possibly.

Could be the CAT blocked if thats been rattling,or could be a silencer if the rattle was from that?Dunno

Had it happen on a mk3 Chavalier, back box was blocked/insides dropped, car would start and idle ok,but was really guttless when drivingYes

Just tried to start it and its tries to go but just chuffs not even up to 1k. To me if the cat was blocked it would do that^ im starting to think fuel now but then if its that it wouldnt even chuff or try to start? Bit more of an explaination from last night.......i warmed it up on the drive all fine then wen i pull away down the road it was revving to prob 2k with my foot down trying to die and now and then would sound loud like it was running on 3 cylinders then just died. The petrol light has been on for about 15 miles but im sure ive run it alot longer than that before

Lmao this happened to me once.
Was an airlock in the fuel tank caused by having the front tyre changed with less than a 1/4
