I have just fitted some wilwood midilites and a gti6 master cylinder with fresh ATE super blue racing fluid.
I drained all of the old fluid from thefront and back brake lines before changine the front calipers. Also fitted new braded lines along with the calipers and bled the full system going from offside rear to near side rear to offside front and nearside front. Then went round again to double check i got all the air out.
Fitted the wheels and took it for a drive and the peddle is rock hard.
Basicley when you have your engine turned off and pump the peddle it goes hard, then when you start the car it goes soft again. Well mine didnt, its still hard.
There are no fluid leaks from the pipes or joints, vaccume pipe is still conected to the servo too.

Any ideas?

Have you got the valve in the vacuum hose the wrong way round?

Yes there was fluid in every caliper and on the 2nd run around there was no air in the system, just fluid.

Yes they are working but not as well as they should, i have to put some force into the peddle

If you swopped the master cylinder you could try adjusting the rod in the servo.

i put a gti6 mc on my 205 servo. can't see why people on the 205 site don't use it, but nevertheless it wouldn't fit into the servo anyway due to the rod travel. wound it back in about 2mm and it fitted fine then. not sure on pedal travel though yet as there's no lines on the car but see no reason why i can't get it to work effectively by adjusting the rod. surely it just means i'd just be on max pedal travel a bit earlier?

*pedal btw Razz
