right im not a huge fan of the standard 306 gti seats. there not that supportive but i dont want proper buckets as i like my comforts so ive decided i am going to fit some RX8 leathers in the front. Now i could just fix these to the standard subframes but then they will be bloody high so whats my best bet? From a mot point of view, would it pass if i made a set of subframes my self providing they are secure?Cheers guys |

I think they will still have to tilt to allow access if your are keeping the rear seats________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi6PS3 - Black Ops 2 Engine crane for hire Renfrewshire |

ok done a bit more research into this (and bought a lovely set!). The passenger one tilts to let fat people get in the back of the rx8 easily so thats ok. I dont let people behind my seat anyway because 1. its broken and 2. im a lanky prick. now just need to get them on the original frames. really want to keep the original slide and not have them fixed. |

Use omp base mount as that will get u as low as ill need and then with the sliders ill put the height up abit.prob best measuring up and getting some universal sliders or use the ones on the seats.________________________________________ Rallye build: 11 November 1998 - a WednesdayTeam rallye, built for track ----Click this if you like rallyes Rallye dead Secret Team Astor... |
