Just double checking before i buy these speakersUnsure

Would i be correct in saying the standard door & parcel shelf speakers are the same size?Unsure

Im looking at a pair of speakers which are 165mm total width, inner width 140mm and depth of 44.5mm. So would this size fit doors and shelf with no messing about cutting/spacing etcDunno

CheersThumbs up

correct. fronts will fit. rears could be an issue but its easy just to cut the basket out and leave the ring in place to hold the speaker.

I've got these and they sound very good for a direct fit no-hassle OE replacement (big improvement over OE sound) and very reasonably priced too - but not if you buy them from Halfords where they are twice the price you can get them elsewhere.

My project thread has a review on the Alpine SXE1725S and photos of the front installation - I have them front and rear now.

6.5cm is a little small isn't it? I'd imagine that's 6.5" LOL (16.5cm)

I bought a pair of the ones with the extra central tweeter off the 205 forum as a direct fit in the rear holes of my 205, they're 13cm Wink I think they are SXE - 1325 S.

I think these may fit directly in a 405 too Hmm speakers are buggered in mum's 405 estate, but then it does have 318k on it !
