The 306 I purchased last year had a upper strut brace fitted, it appears as though the previous owner has damaged the treads either side (3 either side on top of the top mounts) I purchased some bolts from swampy and they don't lock in place. it doesn't seem likely I'll be able to tap a thread of the same size in there, any ideas? |

Cheers for the replies guys. I'll have a look into to doing that. I'm not sure how everything bolts together, but is it safe to continue driving like this? It's not like anything is going to fall out? |

personally i wouldnt drive it, get it sorted!its fairly straight forward, you'll need to remove the strut, compress spring the take mount off i really would just replace it rather than trying to drill/tap, plus their likely to be worn so replacing mounts/bearings will help to tighten things up a bit |

it'll be fine on 2 bolts, the zx only had two.you could just send a 10mm tap through it after drilling to 8.5mm. Or use a longer M8 bolt and a nut underneath. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

It's a right b**ch to get the nut on underneath though!! ________________________________________ Richies Project RallyeElectrical work carried out in Portsmouth jamiek_uk2000 wrote: - Top Tip!!! You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time |
