I fitted a solid lower mount couple of weeks ago and now I'm hearing a wowowowowowing noise from where my feet are No
Just jacked car up and found a slight bit of play at the offside joint near the engine mount all other joints are tight as a ducks arse just a slight bit of play I. E up and down at joint near engine mount..... Sound familiar anyone

What condition was centre bearing in on shaft when you removed it?

Laugh my ass off reminds me of being sat in a tyre place having some new rubber put on the merc and a polish guy walked in who could barely speak a word of engleesh and says

"hey mate err wheel make a noise... err.. sounds like... woowoowoowoowoowoowooweeweeweewee"

bear in mind when you fit uprated engine mounts, extra noise will be transmitted through the car as you

no longer have the soft rubber to absorb the noise and vibration

yea iv replaced that bearing and it's never been so quiet apart from the obvious vibration around 1500 rpm

So it was the intermediate bearing which was causing the noise then...Smile
