Hi guys,

Noticed that when I take my hands off of the steering wheel, my 6 will pull to the right.

About two weeks ago, I had new tyres fitted and decided to have tracking done aswell. I was told the drivers side track rod arm was bent which they showed me, so I had that replaced and tracking done.

However, car still pulls to the right.

One thing I have noticed today, is that when car is stationery, engine off etc... if I turn steering wheel left and then let go, there is a noticeable knock noise when I let go as it comes back to the centre, coming from front drivers side by sounds of it. If I turn right and do the same, there is no knock.

Should there be a knock? And if not, what could this be pointing to?

Cheers

I would check the condition of the wishbone, in particular the big bolt that goes into it (the one that phillpm's lower strut brace uses to mount onto) to see that its screwed in and there is no foul play.

The knocking sounds like a worn droplink so i would check the condition of those too

This is a very good call, these can come loose over time and cause the issue which you describe. Yes

Rear brake sticking, or knackered rear dampers?
