If in doubt, flat out?

Looked a little hairy when the power lines fell over though.

Another view. Must have been a stuck throttle surely, Though it seems to clear by the end.

Rather close to catching those spectators with the power lines, very lucky!

From msport petter solberg.

Very unfortunate morning for Chris Patterson and I.. After leaving the road on SS9 of WRC France, I attempted to try and find the road knowing that it curved to the right later in the notes.. I couldn't see a thing from all of the vines and leaves on the windscreen which resulted in what you'll see in the video here. From that, well you can see what happened. Chris and I are fine, and thankfully no spectators were injured when I came charging in to an electrical poll which downed live wires as a result.. That's all I have to say about it for now, and we'll have to see if we're able to come back tomorrow under SuperRally rules.. Thanks for the support as always. Here's the video: http://www.wrc.com/video/ browse-all/video-rally-france-solberg-off-in- ss9/?vid=2676

Agree with Adam.... One if the true Characters still in wrc. Loebs brilliant but as interesting as a wet cloth. But that was a comical error falling over.

He was one of them that played chicken with me and my timing stick at the start of rally gb 2010. Ogier was the only one to actually hit me and he laughed when I gave him the bird.

I managed to chat to Petter and Ken Block. Worth the rain!
