Good evening,

I think its time to get the calendar underway. It seemed to go well last year and the end result was decent with good feedback from you guys.

I will speak to my contact in the next couple of days to arrange printing and design, it often is simpler for him to complete both as they can set up all the files matched to the printing process. I do think we should plump for a design we haven’t seen in the past - might let him run wild and see what he produces, its normally top work.

In terms of orders we might as well start to get an idea of numbers. Please just post seperatly how many you would like. I can add them up and this way it avoids peoples orders going missing.

Personally, the desktop version that I also made last year was a lot of effort for not many orders. As a result I propose we shall only have the A4 version this year.

The layout will stay the same, A3 in size when hung on the wall - giving a landscape A4 calendar for appointments along with a decent size A4 landscape picture above.

I am of course all ears on this and open to other suggestions is everyone wishes but in terms of functionality this years one has been spot on for me.

I'll buy one.

I like last years layout where it's A4 but makes A3 when hung up. Smile

for what its worth, i prefer the desktop one, my A4 wall one is still in the envelope in my drawers. Big Al, please do consider making the desktop version also again.

maybe include a poll in this thread for A4 and desktop just to see if enough people vote desktop too. thanks.

Well here are the visuals I got through. They are all preliminary until the winning pictures are decided and the design can be finalised. He did say that last years was in such a 'distressed' style that he thought a much simpler look would take less away from the actual picture. I do agree and think by the time you add all appointments it will soon fill up. The style can be altered if anyone has any ideas, or graphics that could be used on each month? He is always happy to help.

In terms of colours, the background to each month is going to be based on the colour of the car featured in the picture (something a little different).

All the winning entries on the front, all entries on the back and the overall winner featuring under the title.

All printed on the highest quality on thick, glossy paper and bound with a black metal coil binder.
