the biggest thing i hate about it is the engine bay colour but at 4k i think it was worth my mates cash.

How come? You think blue and gold dont go? I think it works quite well to be honest. Not sure what colour I would have chosen, probably tried to get it a shiny black or something. I think it look nice though.

I wouldn't worry about the engine bay, an easy fix if that bothered but it's no Peugeot so I doubt you'll have to look at it much.

Yep its agu lump remapped ecu from revo its running 207 bhp with 237 lbs torque.. Should be a bit more tho as have a straight through 2 and half zorst with a nice new intercool plonked on the front ... Its needed a lot of work tho and its not a cheap conversion

150 golf engines come with forged crank and ported head as thats what i fitted to my S3 when i had it along with all the S3 running gear and K04 turbo ect... was running around 295bhp, Thats when it wasnt having boost problems and so on!!! since then i have hated them engines Angry

I did a track day at Donny earlier in the year with a Mk2 Golf running a 240bhp 1.8t engine. Stripped out on 888's it was hassling E46 M3's all over the shop. Very nice conversion and the bloke said it was as reliable as hell.
