Yep needs a new speed sensor. 10 minute job to do and i think there actually quite cheap to get from peugeot. Wouldnt bother with a second hand one as there quite common for failing |

that sounds like it could be a lambda sensor,.. will drop in power,.. and then jump into life like some one just gave it a kick up the ass! separate issue to your speedo I recon,... try your fuse box there's a small metal fuse left of center try taking this out give it a wipe and put it back,.. they sometime build up static or something and this causes your speedo to fail sometimes,.. I have a spare gearbox sensor kicking around if you need one? ________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |

i'd just buy a new one. even one from a motor spares place like ECP, GSF, Andrew Page etc will be fine. mine was knackered but i didn't suffer any power loss though________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Same here, I had a problem with mine a few years back, although it randomly sorted itself out without me changing it. You shouldn't experience a power loss with that issue though. I think roughly from Pug they are around the £20 mark. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
