Well lads, stays a lot cooler now after everyone's help at ace,

However, went to go to work on the Wednesday and got there to find this just starting:

This is the joinery workshop I've worked at for nearly 8 years, I've helped build it, run it and turn it into a company that now has 6 employees, when I got thet it was just starting to get going and take a hold.

A lot of memories a lot of pieces I had made personally for myself and most importantly all my own tools etc all gone.

Any plans for the car at the moment I think will be on hold

Be careful guys, fire and flood are the two most devastating things

Even my old favourite RWD drifting van caught caught too

Well, thought I'd crack on a little today, needed to get out the house, spent a whole morning tidying the garage, I was trying to be disciplined but in the end it got the better of me and I started doing the 306!

I've had a brand new oil cooler sat here for ages but I've been telling myself this wasn't going to be a 5 minute job, guess what..... It wasn't

After positioning it every which way it was clear the bumper was going to have to get "trimmed"!

Just by taking out one of the white rows was going to bring it flat enough and out the way of the fans

A bit of careful cutting and marking today!

Fits a treat, mounted in there solid as you like

Got the sandwich plate and lines to do when I can pick up an oil and filter this week to change that too

Put the new k&n element in though which is sweet, really quite responsive now, along with a set of new plugs!

Colected a bit since last update:

Fitted a newly painted inlet and throttle body that I ported out and polished, really nice and responsive and seems like it pulls great

Miles gear rods, positive change now and no slop!

So the last acquisition I made was these little 330mm baby's! That's it I'm stopping now!

Cleaned them up this morning and gave them a full strip, clean and rebuild! After that I put them in the car and went off down to my mates where we were going to start building the banger Austin A60 we picked up the other week, I was only going to get him to check them! Until he told me I better get on and start fitting as the ramp was free all day!

Had a few snags but all in all not bad!

All bled through, wheels on and ready to roll! I'll let you know what there like in a bit!

Few more little bits, bit quiet though as been out in America for a bit, unbelievable the price of car and Motorsport parts out there, pads that are £180 at compbrake are $81.95 out there, racing is insane too!!!

Track wheels and yokies

And a nice light bonnet!

Passenger ride at 170mph

Much bigger and better than our country!
