Just spend this afternoon stripping interior from my rallye and unsure about a few bits firstly there's a black box glued to floor under the drivers seat I think it's a battery of some kind as its got "yuasa" on it so possibly for alarm?? Also there's another ecu/box under the seat what is this for? Just trying to work out what I can and can't remove (car staying road legal) |

Dnt think so airbag unit was in front of gear lever. This rallye has a alarm system (just beeps horn when it goes off no siren etc) so i think its a pug alarm as no fobs etc it just works of key so I'm wondering if it's to do with that I.e a battery back up of some sort? also thers the other unit thats on a bracket riveted to the car under the seat? |

wish id of took a photo now but forgot. the box is around 4" long, 2" wide and 1" thick and is says yuasa battery on it so the only thing i can think of is its to do with the alarm.. theres nothing alarm related in rear door trim either like alot of posts say. |

its just a battery, likely to be for an aftermarket alarm.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

ok thanks i assumed my alarm on the rallye was standard as theres no siren it just uses the horn. Ill disconnect it at weekend then as dont want the alarm anyhow. Just seems odd that it was burried right under the carpet which again is why i assumed it was something fitted from factory |
