A thicker gasket isnt needed unless the head has been skimmed otherwise you can lower the compression slightly.....i think? If you get someone who knows what there doing to fit some cat cams then im sure ull be fine

This is correct. The thicker gasket (repair gasket) is only needed if the head has been skimmed, hence it's called a "repair gasket". If the head has not had anything taken off it then the compression ratio will remain unchanged. Smile
