l have a spare s16 engine laying around. lm thinking about fitting a 88mm crank and 87-88 mm pistons. The question is what kind of pistons will suit? l se Wossner has 87mm pistons but with 12.4-1 comp or something, but with a 88 crank the comp will be to high. Good tips welcome.

You will probably need to design your own piston, I know Sandy Brown uses 87mm CP's (Or Omega IIRC) but they will be to his own design.

Depends also which rods you plan to use, longer rods will give lower side thrust forces which will help the engine last longer, Sandy Preffers to also use his own spec matching rods from Farndon or CP to ensure longevity, inc (higher spec than ARP) CP bolts.

might as well go 92mm crank...

My plan was to use the std. s16 rods.
