i tried putting a gti6 mc on my 205 and it wouldn't sit flush against the servo due to the rod inside hitting the back, but i am told the 406 one does fit, so that must be the difference Unsure

anyone got an answer or theory to the above? I have a lovely gti6 mc here and a freshly painted 205 which wants it but seems like it can't have it

Have you tried altering the length of the rod inside the servo Rikky?, on the Gti-6 you can adjust them for length, maybe yours needs shortening? (o'er!)

whats your issues btw?

Mushy brake pedal. With engine off, pedal is firm, with engine running theres loads of travel before the brakes work.

exactly same here lol, bear in mind when engine is running your getting vacuum assistance hence the longer

travel/mushier feeling, all cars will do this, but travel just seems excessive....

last post not 100% accurate, brakes work soon as you touch pedal, but have about 2 inches of travel

when really braking hard
