Having issues with the standard 6 disk cd changer in the boot Crazy the cartridge is stuck & wont eject when I press the button? Any way to get the dam thing out?

Yup its still plugged in,I get an ERROR message on the cd player when I try to play a disk & when I press the eject button on the changer it makes a racket as if its trying to release the cartridge

I had this years ago a disk is likely to have got stuck and moved from the natural cartridge collecting point to retrieve it from the drive. IIRC I kept wiggleing it and the cartridge connected to the disk and pulled it out.

If you peer down you can see what it's trying to do or not in your case.

i've just thrown a 306 changer in the bin which was dead, and when i bought my 406 one i also binned that. unreliable POS

Nah you've just bought badly. I run hard drive discs in mine with no issues even when in the twisties I can run Windows XP on the stereo display.
