Been on here a while now, thought I start a tread on my rallye. I bought this a a bare shell. The first build was on a budget but ive been adding bits since. I use the car to compete in sprinting and also the occasional track day. Ill get some more pics soon.  |

I bought a fibreglass bonnet from that guy near Silverstone. It was a single skin bonnet that was very flimsy. I added my own second skin using fibreglass over a foam skeleton. Had it painted so it looks like a normal steel bonnet.  |

Class, not enough people paint their carbon/FG panels and I think it's very cool to have it done. They end up often looking like accident damaged cars that people have bought pattern bonets etc for and never got around to finishing. The cage is an omp one. The car broke the gearbox at the last track day at Mallory so first on the list is to get that fixed. Parts I have are new gearbox, shafts, paddle clutch, gear linkages. Waiting for a billet flywheel before I start work |

I fitted some polycarb windows with sliders. These are quite a nice fit. New seat, cobra evolution pro. Removed the drivers side of the tunnel to get the seat central and low. Makes a big difference.   This weekend I did some cleaning on the engine bay. Truck wash asd a pressure washer made a dent I removed the power steering cooler, carbon canister and a lot of excess loom inc abs loom. Silicone top hose from spoox with there adapter. Had some new magnicore leads when I had the omex 600 fitted   |

Thanks, yes the plan is TB's next. Its quite a lot of money to buy the lot in one plus have the omex fitted and mapped. I thought the best plan was to buy over time. I get a nice shift light with the omex as well |

Seen your thread, very nice I always stick to a certain order, safety, handling, power. To get though the msa scrutineers, you have to have good cage, seat harness etc.. Then what connects you to the road, 888's, v70's, K03's etc... Then fancy bits like bodies |

Me too, to be fair the cage and the bodies were kind of at the same time, it's only because Custom Cages were such a shower of s**te that the cage wasn't done and in long before the bodies arrived. Its mapped spot on, feels like there's much more torque. Stand alone is great though as you can get the maximum power out of every mod you put on the car. |

The mapping was done firstly by area 52 in nottingham. They did a fair job but on my e30 they did an awfull job and I will not be going back there. Spoox although not having a rolling road did a far better job. The difference was amazing and my trust is now with them for the rest of my mapping needs. |

Had some time off work this week so I though Id make a start on replacing the gearbox and fitting a few other bits.Broken shaft.  Uprated mounts.   Coilovers built up and fitted.    End of play day one |
