Hey,

A fault has occured on my 6 where if I drop the revs quickly the engines stalls. Tends to happen if I'm pulling up to lights for example, I then dip the clutch and the revs drop below 1000, then it stalls. It's kind of okay if I manage the revs above 1000.

Any ideas?

It is likely to be the idle control valve (or ICV) have a look in the FAQ section.

Okay. I had that go before and the engine tended to hunt rather than cut out but I'll have a look.

90% of the time if it's cutting out or idling roughly the it'll be the ICV Yes

Agreed, the rest of the time it'll either be a dodgy lambda or PAS sensor. Wink

Soon it'll start idling at 3000 revs, always a delight at the traffic lights!

Cheers guy's.

I've got a feeling it might be the PAS sensor but I'll check the stepper too. Do you know where's best to get a stepper or PAS sensor? Peugeot or someone on here?

Magneti Marelli dealers would be cheaper for the ICV if you can find one...

Pug for the PAS sensor. Yes
