hey guys help needed

have changed engines in my rallye got a newer engine out of a xsara vts, changed all the sensors ova.

filled the car with new box oil,water about to bleed the system turned the key so ignition lights come on , then a horrible tapping like tap,tap,tap,tap was comin from the ecu..

hmmmm

i fink its a bad earth just fort has anybody else had this issue as i need it sorted asap

could be the fuel relay which is located next to or underneath the battery/ecu.

Ecu has no moving parts so it cant tap, but check the relay as mentioned

cheers guys i sorted it... it was the earth on the box needed sand paperin then boom its all gd Smile

As just gonna say had this plus all the interior electrics not working properly when I changed my engine. Left the nut on the inner wing earth loose DOH!
