Coil springs are a well known problem for snapping. A large part of the problem comes from when they are manufactured. They are made and then hung up to be painted. Once the paint has dried they are then removed from the hangers, however the part of the spring that was used by the hanger is not painted and over time rusts, corrodes and eventually snaps. This was a huge problem on Berlingo springs... ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
