Just changed mine as it keeps cutting in/out. Still does it too. Must be the fan unit itself. What are your issues?________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Hey, I had the same issue. Check the wires on the plug. one should be ground, the other 12v and the other should vary by 4/5v relative to ground if that makes sense. (cant remember exact figures). If thats that case, open the blower unit. there is a cast alloy block held in by 3 torx screws. On the under side of it, there is a pcb sealed in silicone. the are 3 ICs on it. They blow from time to time. You can replace the cast alloy unit itself. all the same from the whole of the 306 range. should cost bugger all from a scrappy. Hope it helps. ________________________________________ Love thy 6 |

is it wedged in? if so, it could be melted - common problem, mine was the same. new relay = problem gone for 2 years________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |
