hi peeps,

one tricky question and one simple one,

from what i've read on here my 6 is the correct ride height, front sill 20cm off the ground, rear sill 21cm, but the gap between my front wheel arch and tyre is twice that of the rear! any ideas?

also if i lower it how low shall i go to make it look just nice?

thanks all!

Just the way it is, front arch gap is larger than rear.

The rear beam could be tired, not un common as they become older. When I bought mine the arch gaps front to rear were very similar.

If you want a fast road set up the the billi b4s will do you and then the ride height is up to you. Not my cup of tea but each to their own Wink

Bilstein B4's are the model of shock absorber that are the OE replacement shock. I.e. not really uprated, though they are 15% stiffer / 10%? I can't remember.

A cure for a sagging beam is to refurb it really. The sagging will be bearing related I'm guessing?

It depends on your interpretation of "nice" Smile

I'm going -25/30mm front and -25mm rear with B4's, Eibach springs, 21mm TB's and hybrid arb in the hope I get a nice fast road setup. Should look better being slightly lower too
