Will MICHELIN PILOT EXALTO PE2's be ok on a standard 6 with cyclones? I have some budget tyres on at the moment and the Profile is 55, but the PE2's profile is 50. I take it the arch gaps is going to get alot/a little bigger..

they are pretty much the best tyre you can put on a 6
50 will be fine, there are a fair few running them, Just be aware the speedo will underead a little and also that the ride may be slightly harsher,
They are worth that though Smile

I got a Diablo and a Blaze. I think that China and Diablo are the best colours when they are clean, so i'll let you off. LOL

My diablo came with 55 profile tyres years ago when i bought it but they were 3 different makes which i really wasnt happy about so i went to a big roundabout and had a bit of a play with LOOS, it didnt take long to wear them out and i got some 50 profile Goodyear Eagle F1's.
Had them on a few years but they wore out so i opted to try the PE2's in 50 profile.

I personally prefer the 50 profile tyres as they seem to give more feedback and less roll.

Time to prism7mayhew it up:

The diablo is standard height all round, Bilstein dampers with Pug springs. Smile

Looks good mr prismayhew. Wink
Best colors for clean are china, diablo and suprisingly blaze. They scrub up really well with a deep shine.

Next tyres I try on the 6 are going to be pilot sports, excellent on the mondeo, not sure if they're available in a mere 15 inch though.

Gota love pe2's. Just would like to have tried ps3's as they have a stiffer sidewall. But, at the moment pe2's ftw. Smile

17 or 18 inch?
Ive had them on the
Mondeo for 3 years nearly now, that's like 12 tyres Shock
Most I've payed is £160 each and the least £145 each.
They used to be around £250 each back in the day when 18s weren't as popular.
