Just noticed that when i turn the car off and remove the key the red battery light stays on the dash. Popped the bonnet and could still here something electrical "priming" or similar. Its as if i've left the key on turn 1 or 2. All fans and electrics still work with the keys out.

Obviously something electrical but any idea where to look first?

Also while youre listening i have excessive play in the steering wheel, whats could this be? I have replaced the ball joints recently but didnt touch the tre's at all

Cheers Andrew

I will replace the locks if need be but think its me being an idiot. After and engine change this has started, never before. So thinking ive put perhaps an earth or connector in the wrong place. Any idea which one i should start with?
