Oh more than I thought but having said that seems cheap really as apparently the rear beam alone on that maxi cost £15,000 If I had known I would have paid that I had that much left over I've paid £20+ on two ocassions for a ride in a Bowler Wildcat and £30 for a ride in an Evo Rally car around Castle Combe. The Maxi sounds amazing so would be rude not to really ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

arigti6 wrote: Me, playboyb and my bird spent ages chatting to them. Nice guys. Got my bird a lift for the price of a ticket. Sam did too. Mark Ellis the mechanic for it said the gearbox is £45k. Ouchy! So £15k for the beam seems about right. I really wanted a ride in the Maxi but I was way too polite to even ask. Never be to polite to ask... Dont ask, doing get and all that. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

I would have asked but at the time I was not sure who to ask and I did not want to butt in. In hindsight I should have asked there and then as time flew past from then till we headed back. I am driving myself to Pugfest next year (Pug or if still with the Focus) and I am getting a ride in the Maxi. ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

One of the most impressive things I saw was what Kev the dent man at pugfest did.I don't have a before pic of Seb's rear wing, but I'm sure he might post one up to show, it was a major jobbie. Yet 2 hours later and it looks like this Very well done to him and congratulations to Seb for now owning a minter 6. As I haven't seen a single pic of my car anywhere. I thought I'd be sad enough to watch my mate Sam's vid and save some pics from that. I kind of like the first blury pic, looks mean! VIDEO CLICKY My car filmed here: 7.23 - 7.47 Lots of faces I recognise. you may be on the video too. The video has been put together quickly very well. ________________________________________ JAMMA "M44YHW" MAYHEWLOSE WEIGHT NOW - ASK ME HOW - NUTRI-FIX GTi6 LPG, The best of both worlds! 2006: 1997 R reg 306 1.4 Miami - Diablo Red - DEAD 2007: 1999 V reg 306 1.4 Meridian - Diablo Red - SOLD 2007-09: 1998 S reg 306 GTi6 - Diablo Red - DEAD 2009-10: 1998 R reg Corsa 1.2 - Blue - SOLD 2010-13: 2001 Y reg 306 GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red - DEAD 2013 - 2013: 2000 X reg GTi6 LPG - Moonstone Blue - DEAD 2013 - current: 2001 X reg GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red ]FOR SALE[/b] "I LIVE FOR THE 306" |

Looked like a shot gun had been fired at the rear 1/4. I could not belive it was the same panel when he had finished. Im going to pop over to Kev at some point and get him to work his magic on the 182.
