Mornin all, does anyone know where i can source a new gearstick? Snapped mine just above the balljoint leaving me stationary whilst in traffic in the fast lane of the M25, cue police, highways agency and the RAC. Ahh, the joys of french car ownership! Big grin

Have run a search on here with no avail, lots of threads about popping linkages but no sticks. Any help much appreciated. as always. Thumbs up

Just take a look for anyone breaking a car in the Parts For Sale section and ask them, it's not something people normally list as there's no demand, but I'm pretty sure every 306 had one, so you should be able to pick one up for no money Yes

Meantime use a large screwdriver into the balljoint. Easy enough, although the shift is a tad sloppy. Reverse is also a bit of a fiddle.

Its the s**t archiving on the forum because I had a thread on it about 5 year ago. Thumbs down Thumbs down
Mine snapped in traffic at some lights in rush hour. Pushed it out the way and used a screwdriver from the glovebox.

Yeah I'm using a bit of iron bar I found on the hard shoulder at the mo. Might just turn down a big old screwdriver and use that instead for the crack. Cheers guys
