Had my XSI for 1 year and the fans have never worked!

Did a 200mile journey in the hot weather the other week including sitting in traffic and only had to vent hot air out once to cool engine down which was the first time ive ever had to do it!

a big thanks to everyone who offered help.

its one of those French days ... i pulled the car to bits to check if ecia or gate ... plugged the motor on the battery and its working again ... its only f**king ecia! LOL

apology for defcon 5 mobilisation ... please return to standby! Whistle

NO doubt ill be back to this thread in a week once the motor dies again. it was running very slowly with almost no power before. so maybe it was a dry joint on the connecting terminals.

Should I use Silicon grease for the joints ? or something else?

MOT is due ... fans, pads, discs, stuff that goes in the brake pipes, oil, plugs, filer, oil, filter, wishbones, tre's shot, then i get to do the other 6 pads, discs, wishbones, clutch and project 1932 Love roll on the good weather Cool

corroded joints is very common on the multiplug, I htink its one of the contributing factors to my brothers spectacular HG fail (apart from him still driving it for a week wondering what the rattling noise was)
