I thought the boot mat was a waste of £25 myself seeings as my work kit i shove in the boot makes the mat all manky and dirty anyway.

Anyway, this is directed at OP - how do you find your 57i induction kit? How low does the filter sit?
No worries about sucking up water?

I want to increase induction sound in my own 6 but not to the detriment of air flow or running the risk of hydrolock!

yes it is a little scary when its wet but i doubt you will hydraulic if you use sour common sense the kit mounts very well in my opinion and the standard airbox weighs a tonne Thumbs down the only thing i dont like is the filter does get slightly wet when driving in the rain

you do lose a bit of bottom end aswell but that is countered when the cam comes in and growls and sucks squirrels and other roadside animals in lololol

K&N panel filter in the air box ftw! Don't get wet and still sound pretty good. Wink lose the resonator too. Smile

yep if my airbox was in decent shape I would have kept it but it was rotten as a pear Unsure
I'd love to make an alloy box to house the filter in which was ducted to the front grille Thumbs up
